Also did some changes and improvements to the GUI.....

Here is your scene Jan....although i had to remodel it cause you could kind of see through the walls --?? well no idea why... ;)

this is the same with your model --- i have no idea what happens here...??

Oh again a new test release ( test5 ) .. lol ...i\'ll have a look at it....

Thanks for the update u3dreal. I don\'t know what\'s the problem with this geometry. It\'s a very useful test for render engines, and i\'ve done many tests on other engines without any problem. Anyway, now looks a lot better ;)

Hey everyone...

i am inquiring about exporter speed. i heard in the beginning it was a concern for many. what type of speeds is U3dreal's exporter getting?

i need to do a benchmark in order to make sure my exporter is on par. would anyone care to post some times? i am currently only worried about triangle count.

1000 tris

10000 tris

100000 tris

times dont have to be percise, roundings are fine. i just dont want to make my exporter horribly slow. i am not interested in a competition at all

thanks!

*edit i am getting 2 mins on 120000 tris is this normal for others??

Hi Scaron...

well I think you will have to post your CPU speed and system setup as well

to get some compares...;) sure a dualcore will be faster than a athlon XP..

right now i\'m thinking of rewriting the geometry export code...

maybe we can exchange some knowledge...?

mail me at u3dreal att googlemail dooty com...

U3dreal, appears to be a little bug in the macro. It calls for Max2Indigo/MAX2INDIGO0.492.ms in the infile instead of the encripted file -> Max2Indigo/MAX2INDIGO0.492.mse

Yes, scale parameter appears to work fine now. I haven\'t do so many tests, but at least the DOF excess has dissapeared
