<p>Render time ~50000 secs</p>

Materials:<br/>

The wall is a Lambertian (diffuse) reflector with reflectivity 0.8.<br/>

The teapots are an isotropic Phong material.<br/>

The floor and steps are an isotropic phong material with a diffuse wood-textured substrate.<br/>

It looks awsome, but 13 hours seems excessive... then again the only ray tracing I\'ve ever managed were shiny spheres =)

yeah 13 hours is kind of excessive. Actually i just eliminated a bug which should make it render 2-3x faster.

However, the scene is not actually that easy. All the lighting is indirect, and the walls have quite a high reflectivity, which means that the average light path length is quite large.

True... it looks awsome and from the realism I can see that it is very complex...

Is the noise simply from the monte carlo or is it also an effect?

lol, the noise is all from the monte-carlo, not an effect :)

Otherwise i\'d just turn the effect off :)
