Just in case you didn\'t catch the first (or second, heh heh) Slashdot coverage, check out this Java port of Quake II from Bytonic.

Comparing this to the javascript \'FPS\', i think it shows how much Java pwns web2.0 bullocks like dhtml. Just a pity Java is so heavyweight :(

I\'m scared that worked ... talk about a waste of CPU. Still, goood way to kill time when your borred on some random machine you don\'t have privilages on :)

Too bad you have to download the pk2 files =) Well, it does it for you but you still want broadband...
