Just dropping a note that Gaffer\'s PixelToaster, the successor of OpenPTC, is again very well alive and kicking. Its forum has been restored and the source code has been put in a subversion repository on sourceforge. There\'re also efforts to port it to both Mac and Unix, so that should be cool ...

Would be nice if there were some demos like in the TinyPTC days...

Eh, I\'ve been using PixelToaster for a while now (although, slightly modified source... he uses BGRA as opposed to RGBA in his conversion code... switched ot to RGBA), for Orion Imager (my ray tracer\'s rendering app)...

Might get around to posting the source when I can be arsed. (That is, when I have time to polish the app, comment, and put it up on the web)
